As of now, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Health Ministry of the Government of the UAE have not imposed a travel ban on individuals travelling to UAE from the People’s Republic of China on the basis of the coronavirus concern. There will be heat scanning at air and seaports in the UAE as a precaution. Individuals who feel unwell can visit health facilities at the airport and seaports.
At the venue of the WUWHS2020, as advised by the WHO and following the recommendation of the Health Ministry of the Government of the UAE, clinics are available. In addition, throughout the venue, hand sanitizers will be widely available.
Participants are advised to refer to any travel advisories from their country before making final arrangements to travel to the UAE. If there are any changes advised by the WHO or the Government of the UAE on travel that will impact the World Urban Forum, this will be communicated through the WUWHS2020 website and through email and other outlets.
